Navigating through the different programs can be challenging to say the least. Some of the most frequent questions we hear are related to the availability of services.
Residential
Residential Services offer community living options for adults with special lives with the goal of maximizing independence. Options include group homes, supervised apartments, in-home supports, foster care, and respite care.
Foster Care
A family invites a person with IDD to live in their home and provides them with the supports they need to be successful in the community, as well as, to reach their own personal goals. More Information
This type of service may be provided to a person with IDD who is living with their parents or living in their own apartment. More Information
Work Support & Day Habilitation
Work support programs enable adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to prepare for and engage in meaningful employment and/or training to increase their functional skills. Day Habilitation programs provide activites and training to maintain or enhance functional skills, as well as, opportunities for social and community involvement. More Information
These services include recreation, social, personal, and civic activities such as Special Olympics, therapeutic horseback riding, church services, dances, field trips, execise programs, arts and crafts, community events, etc. More Information
